Proposed sites

Five plants, from Menya to Safaga.

The industrial portfolio sets out five sites, not one factory. Menya builds passenger cars and SUVs. Bani Sweif builds pickups and light commercial vehicles. Asyut builds trucks and buses. Aswan makes the tyres and the components. Safaga, on the port, is the battery gigafactory. Together they take 8.0 million square metres. The drawings are the phase masterplans in the portfolio. They are not a granted site.
